Global Leaderboards
How to track your progress and compare against the world.
Overview of the Leaderboards
The Global Leaderboard is the ultimate proving ground for Multiplayer Sudoku players. It is a live, constantly updating registry of the most skilled, dedicated, and accurate puzzle solvers on the platform.
To ensure that different types of players are recognized for their unique achievements, our leaderboard system is broken down into several distinct categories.
Leaderboard Categories
- Top Rated (Elo): This is the most prestigious list. It ranks players based entirely on their Elo matchmaking rating. Reaching the top of this board requires consistently beating other highly-ranked players without suffering severe losses.
- Most Wins: A testament to dedication. This board tracks the raw, total number of multiplayer matches a player has won across their entire account history, regardless of their current Elo rating.
- Highest Win Streak: This board highlights consistency and accuracy under pressure. It records the maximum number of consecutive Ranked matches a player has won without suffering a single loss or elimination.
- Fastest Daily Challenge: A rotating, 24-hour leaderboard dedicated entirely to the current day's specific puzzle.
Update Frequency & Seasons
To maintain a dynamic competitive environment, the leaderboards are managed in real-time. The moment a match concludes, the server recalculates the Elo ratings and instantly pushes the new rankings to the global database.
Competitive Seasons: While the "All-Time" leaderboards remain permanent, we occasionally host timed "Seasons." At the end of a season, the top-ranking players on the Elo board are permanently immortalized in the Hall of Fame, and ratings are softly reset to ensure a fresh, fair race for the next season.
How to Get on the Leaderboard
Getting your name on the board requires a registered account. While you can play Multiplayer Sudoku as a Guest, guest statistics are ephemeral and are not tracked on the permanent global leaderboards.
